Since Apple last released iPads more than a year and a half ago, that will finally change on May 7 when a new generation of iPads is released. At 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET, Apple is hosting an online launch event where we should be able to see the new iPad Pro and Air models in addition to the Apple Pencil.
It is anticipated that Apple will eventually transition to OLED screens for their iPad Pro lineup. There are rumours that the front-facing cameras will now be horizontally oriented on the 13-inch and 11-inch display sizes. Two iPad Airs with 12.9-inch and 10.9-inch Mini LED displays are also on the horizon. The Apple M3 chipsets will power the new tablets.
Apple is also anticipated to release a redesigned Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad and a stronger aluminium chassis, as well as a new Apple Pencil with a squeeze gesture.
